Ann Arbor, Michigan – March 29, 2011 – Today, MedHub, Inc., signed an agreement withthe University of Cincinnati – UC Health University Hospital to deploy its MedHub enterprise residency management system across all residency and fellowship programs, Graduate Medical Education and hospital finance.
This contract continues MedHub’s rapid growth that has seen revenue increases of over 100% per year since 2008. It also represents the sixth straight switch of a large academic teaching institution to MedHub.
The MedHub system is an integrated web-based suite of modules developed to improve communication, information workflow and reporting for physician training and residency program accreditation and institutional billing and Medicare reimbursement.
MedHub provides a diverse group of stakeholders, real-time access to critical information essential to the management of their respective specialized tasks. These include rotation and call schedules, procedure logging, conference management, duty hours documentation, licensure and institutional compliance management and much more.
MedHub replaces multiple databases and ad hoc processes with linear workflow centered a unified database. Stakeholders use MedHub to manage hundreds of tasks and activities that address three essential requirements:
- Residency program accreditation
- Physician training (residents, fellows and medical students)
- Affiliated institutional billing & Medicare reimbursement
